ในเพลงนั้นเขาบอกว่า ในหลายครั้ง คนเราจะใช้ความรักอย่างเดียวมันไม่พอ
ที่จะให้รักนั้นอยู่อย่างยั่งยืน  การที่คนเราเมื่อรักกันแล้วคิดจะไปมีรักใหม่นั้นมีให้เห็น
อยู่ทั่วไป  ความรักนั้นต้องมีความไว้ใจและเชื่อใจกันเป็นพื้นฐาน ถ้าหากมีทั้งสองสิ่งนี้แล้ว 
ชีวิตรักก็จะยืนยาวไปชั่วนิรันดร์ "บางที่รักอย่างเดียวก็ไม่พอ" จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อเพลงในเพลงนี้

to use = (สำนวน) to use + ใครคนใด หมายถึงการหลอกใช้ใครคนนั้น
matter to = (สำนวน) สำคัญ...blame = กล่าวโทษ,กล่าวร้าย,ความผิด
desert = อ่าน ดิเสิท หมายถึง ละทิ้ง,ละทิ้งหน้าที่,ทอดทิ้ง  คำ ๆ นี้ ถ้าอ่านว่า เดสเอิท หมายถึง ทะเลทราย
they can't touch = สัมผัสไม่ได้ เข้าถึงไม่ได้ ก็คือไม่รัก
